Karadjordjevo agreement. What really happened.

Complete agreement

Complete agreement

If anything is painful and heart breaking to write about, and not to tell a lies is that unfortunate meeting and other meetings held between Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic and Croatian president Franjo Tudjman in 1991. The story is about the worst possible betrayal and misery what will bring  upon their own people. Croats and Serbs.  So what they were talking about?

Only thing that they had on mind was basically independence within their own republics and preservation of their own personal powers. They knew exactly that it was impossible and that West and Russia will not allow  that with so large Serb presence in Croatia and big majority of ethnic  Albanians in Kosovo. So what they had in their pervert minds?  Yes you are right to move large number of people around. Tudjman would be happy to get a rid of Serbs from Croatia and Milosevic would be happy to see them in Kosovo. They were in agreement about that from before but were looking on way how to carry out that unimaginable  task.  At the end that was not America.  How to tell the Serbs from Pakrac, for example, to leave their huge land property and everything and move to Kosovo?  Similar situation was in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By his own calculus Milosevic needed about  1 -2 million Serbs to move in Serbia. Basically complete Serb population from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Conclusion , reached on Karadjordjevo meeting was low level intensity Civil War. They new exactly that once it starts there won’t be any way back for Serb population, especially if they start losing their war slowly and steadily. Tudjman  had in mind to take over whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and make something like federation between Croatia and Bosnia for beginning/read Nazi NDH/ and  had full  support of German Chancellor at that time Helmut Kohl /poor guy didn’t know at that time that Germany will become Germany of Bismarck/ but that was not discussed in Karadjordjevo because Milosevic  didn’t have any interest about Bosnia at all. To make Tudjman sure of his intentions and honesty in the mater he promised him that he will sent border guards and custom agents on Serbia’s border on river Drina, and what he really  did shortly after that. Basically that was idea of Milosevic and Tudjman was surprised and astonished on that opportunity  /watch his face on those photos from the meeting/. So basically Karadjordjevo meeting was meeting about how to conduct Low Intensity Civil War and lose it when about  Serb’s side without alarming  West  and specially US and Russia and  of course hiding their real intention  from their own population. Tudjman was in charge to inform Bosnian President Alia Izetbegovic,  and make him cooperate, what he did next day after meeting and Alija willingly agreed. So everything was ready to start.   Tudjman and Izetbegovic activated their paramilitary units and started sporadically killings  of Serbs to provoke a response. Serbs from Croatia and Bosnia were supposed  to be a bad boys /what turned out not to be so bad at all./and lose the war.    Continuing story
